The Citizens for Responsible Growth's mailing address is in Beaverton, not North Plains. Their April 8th report shows a $2,500 donation from Polygon Northwest -- their only donor to date. Their treasurer has twice been charged with filing late campaign contribution reports. CFRG has already spent over $22,000 to convince voters that this annexation will be good for the town and its residents. But they only have $2,500 -- where will they get the rest of the money? Where has the money gone? To rent meeting halls for catered events, and to print and mail brochures. And then there's $10,000 paid to "Hirst Consulting!" Are you surprised by any of this? You shouldn't be. CFRG is funded by the developers who will profit from this annexation. And it appears that its Director is being paid handsomely to sell this annexation to North Plains. Her duties apparently include:
